SZA (Solána Imani Rowe) is an American singer-songwriter born in 1989. Initially, she pursued marine biology at Delaware State University. However, she dropped out in her final semester to focus to music. 

After releasing well-received EPs early on in her career, she became the first female artist signed to Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) in 2013.

Her debut album, Ctrl, earned four Grammy nominations in 2018 and cemented her status as a rising star. In 2018, her collaboration with Kendrick Lamar on "All the Stars" became a top-10 hit in both the US and UK, earning her Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations for Best Original Song.

Throughout her career, SZA has amassed numerous accolades, including five Grammy Awards, a Brit Award, an American Music Award, a Guild of Music Supervisors Award, and two Billboard Women in Music awards- one of which named her Woman of the Year.

SZA is one of the most influential music artist todays. With her albums Ctrl and SOS shaping the landscape of contemporary R&B, she continues to inspire.
